it was such a joy being invited back to campus to teach my fave topic in the world, neuro-design 🧠 the use of neuro research to design accessible & compelling visuals (for good!)!!
if we design tools to navigate social resources in a way that’s more intuitive to how our brains learn, we can equip more folks to advocate for the life and futures they want. it’s no coincidence that our most critical decisions around our 🩻 health, 🏠 housing, and 🤝 opportunities are overwhelming and boring af 😴
i worked with students on their visual communication strategies to get fellow students to take action on gentrification, bursting the hopkins bubble, and challenging the staggering medical debt to hopkins here in baltimore.
as designers 🧑🏾🎨 we have a responsibility to shift creative energy toward connecting communities to the information and resources they should have access to. we have the power to make the revolution irresistible ✨
